This year, The Gibson Soto Foundation transformed my life by giving me a place to live with balanced meals through menus made by nutritionists. Also provides me with transportation to and from the university, helping me with financial support to pay my tuition, and with materials and books that I need throughout my degree. Has transformed me by giving me English classes to continue improving my level of English. In the same way, he gave me personalized English advice where a person who masters the level supports me and teaches me what is necessary to strengthen my learning further.
Has transformed my life by supporting me financially to be able to complete my university technical degree.
Has also transformed my life by helping me get a company so I could complete my professional internship and learn a little more than what I learned in my degree.
The human development workshops have transformed me by being able to improve my skills such as leadership and the types of dialogue to be able to have assertive communication since, in my career, leadership is a key piece, and with these tools provided, it will be or is easier to communicate with a team. Also to improve my teamwork and know that everyone in a team is key piece and that working as a team, the work is achieved in a better way. All this goes hand in hand with the workshop on how to be a good speaker since my public speaking is usually a bit complicated, but with the workshop we took I learned a lot about tone of voice, posture, and gestures. So that the message we want to give is taken in the best way or people are interested in listening to us.
Has helped me make a life project and project how I see myself at a certain time and how to work to achieve it.
I also learned about lateral thinking and not only seeing things as we are used to but also seeing beyond and trying to innovate in everything.
It is also transforming my life by giving me the knowledge to carry out a community project and thus also transforming the environment of the people in my community of origin, giving me a course on entrepreneurship, where we see everything necessary to correctly propose and develop a project and know if It will be viable so that in the future this can also be a form of economic income in my life.
Has transformed me with all the external workshops they give us, since they are all very useful. The workshops that have transformed me the most or moved something inside me the most are the self-defense workshop and the workshops on emotion recognition, since in a part of my life, I suffered violence and everything I felt I repressed. Also, because in my environment, I never received emotional education, and now, thanks to The Gibson Soto Foundation, I know that it is good to feel and live them in order to feel better and not live repressed by different situations. The Gibson Soto Foundation throughout this year has transformed my life in many ways. I have learned a lot about myself and my environment and to prepare for my future.
