All of us at the Gibson Soto Foundation are incredibly proud to present the results of our student Jessica’s community project!
With dedication and a passion for serving her community, Jessica organized three months of Saturday classes in her home community, La Quinta 2, San Luis de la Paz, Guanajuato. During these sessions, 11 children, aged 8 to 12, participated. They learned the basics of the English language, including vocabulary related to body parts, fruits and vegetables, animals, clothing, and family members.
The project aimed to create better educational opportunities for these children, which Jessica accomplished by introducing them to English. The mission is to provide a strong foundation in the language so that the children can grow up with enhanced educational resources. Our vision is to inspire them to seek new and better opportunities for their academic development.
Not only did Jessica teach them the basics of a new language, but she also instilled a sense of curiosity and a desire to learn more. This demonstrates that the future of an entire community can be transformed with effort and commitment.
We applaud Jessica’s efforts and appreciate the positive impact she is making!
