We strongly believe in the importance of educating and sensitizing our students about the prevention of gender-based violence. For this reason, we attended a screening of the short film organized by the Women’s Secretariat of the Municipio de Querétaro in honor of International Women’s Day. The film, titled “We Know Where It Begins,” was created by feminist artivist Adriana Fuentes Muñoz and highlights the impact of street harassment on women’s lives.
This event provided an opportunity for deep and reflective dialogue, reaffirming our commitment to promoting the right to a life free from violence and to achieving gender equality (SDG 5). Everyone has the right to travel safely and without fear.
We continue to motivate our students to be informed, empowered, and proactive, because only through education and solidarity can we build a future where no woman has to experience violence. Together, we can create a safer and fairer world.
