Majo’s Testimonial
I remember when I first joined La Cima IAP. I was a curious girl, afraid of the unknown, but over time I adapted. I learned to socialize with more people from different places and cultures.
I learned to find solutions to the problems and challenges I encountered along the way. For me, the most valuable thing I discovered about myself is that I am an empowered woman who can achieve anything I set my mind to in life, despite the obstacles and difficulties that may arise.
Gaining new educational and personal development tools helped me get to know myself better and learn new things that are essential for life. One of the most important things I learned at La Cima is co-responsibility, which means doing things that benefit not only yourself but also others. I believe that if we were all more co-responsible in life, everything would work differently; that’s why today I am part of the 1% who strive to be a better person.
I recognize my excellence and the achievements I made during my time at La Cima. I was able to carry out a community project that I truly enjoyed. I taught fifth- and sixth-grade students in my community, and I was able to contribute to an improvement that will benefit them in the future by helping them acquire basic math skills.
Another of my greatest achievements is completing my Bachelor’s degree in Logistics Network Design and Management and being able to do my internship in the area of foreign trade.
From the workshops at La Cima IAP, I gained tools such as problem-solving, teamwork, English, self-control, emotional intelligence, self-awareness, nutritional awareness, and financial literacy.
I dream that La Cima IAP will continue to grow and be able to support more girls who truly need to be in this institution, and that they will continue to receive all the knowledge from which I have already benefited. I am deeply grateful to have been a beneficiary of this wonderful program.
In this new stage of my life, I would like to contribute with donations so that future generations can have the same opportunities I had while I was there.
I will always cherish the wonderful time I spent at La Cima IAP.
